Love is Hard, Hate is Easy - part 2

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.

There are times in our lives that we seem to be the object or target of hate. Someone may be jealous or envious of our station in life or they think that by expressing their hatred toward us we will retaliate. Hate is confusing. It is a boomerang that will circle back faster than you can imagine. It destroys from within, in other words it always, always fails. Love on the other hand never fails. It conquers all. It rises above all else and touches the mind and heart. Love will overcome hate, it will drive out envy and it will satisfy the soul like nothing else. God gave us the gift of love to glorify Him. He gave us this gift to share with one another and to demonstrate that we live with Jesus in our hearts. Love will never cease because God will never cease. Though many have tried to drive away both, neither will be conquered. Love will prevail, it will never fail, it will rise up against hate and it will win. Let the love of Christ flow from your heart through your words and through your steps as your travel along life today. Speak kindly, love generously and praise the Lord with your love…
