John 17:20-21...United We Stand...

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

Unity Is the message of Christ and the gospel of salvation is something that we as Christians should be constantly promoting. Too many times we see bickering and division within church bodies and mostly because of petty things or because of struggles for control. These are worldly attributes that creep into the church and into our minds if we are not careful to protect our bond to each other. As the body of Christ our mission is to inform the world of God’s love, the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and the forgiveness of sins. We are to show mercy and extend grace, forgive and to heal, to love and comfort those we meet and especially those we hold dear. When we find ourselves in the middle of conflict among the church we must act. We should stand for unity and for the purpose that God intended. We are His voice here on earth, shouting praises to His name and giving thanks for all that He has blessed us with. We are here to love and to care for each other and to extend that love and compassion to a world that desperately needs it. Share with those around you and see the mighty hand of God work through you…
