1 Corinthians 13:1-3...Love Is All There Is...

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

For centuries before us and even today mankind has been on a quest to gain wealth and gather worldly goods. For some it seems to be a lifelong journey and eventually consumes every thought and every moment of the day. While wealth and possessions are not evil or wrong, the endless pursuit and overwhelming drive that is focused only on this gain falls short of our greatest possession, Love. Paul speaks very simply and precisely about what love means here in the chapter of love. Without love we are nothing, without love we would be lost in our sins. God is love and He has been gracious enough to share that Love through Christ Jesus. This is our greatest possession and our greatest joy in sharing. Share the love of Christ and watch how far it may go…
