Psalm 118:28-29...In Everything, Praise the Lord....

“You are my God, and I will praise You. You are my God, I will exalt You. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”

Praise and thanksgiving are powerful tools that we as Christians should use everyday. Through praise and worship we are covered by an overwhelming peace that only God can provide. In our daily battle with the evil forces that surround us, praise is the best defense we have. Through the giving of our thanks and the praise of our Lord we are able to turn away the fiery darts headed our way. We are also able to see through the fog of doubt and fear and proclaim the power of Christ. Given that these are such powerful tools we should become more aware of how often we use them and work to put them into practice more often. A great thought to keep ever present in your mind is this, "in everything Praise the Lord."
