Matthew 4:4...Time is Precious...

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’

Everyday our surroundings are the breeding ground for satan’s temptations. You don’t have to look far to find them. Even Jesus was tempted, by satan, while He was alone in the desert and He offered us prime examples of how to thwart the evil intentions that are aimed at us. One of which is feeding on the Word of God. In order to be prepared for what comes your way every day you must be nourished and strengthened by God’s instruction. This requires time and in our busy lives it seems hard to find the time we need or even the time we want to spend alone with God, however, we must make the time and prepare our hearts lest we become weak and seemingly easy prey. Ask God to expand your time and to provide you with a quiet moment alone with Him.
