Psalm 40:5...Thank You Lord!...

“Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you have planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.”

In the course of our busy lives we often do not take the time to stop and think about all that God has done for us, let alone all that He has planned for us. Each of us has been endowed with special gifts that God has purposed for us to use in ministering to others and to further the gospel of Jesus Christ. If we started a list it of all that God has provided for us and all the many ways He has looked after us during our lifetime we would never be able to finish. Let that soak in for a moment. We could spend the rest of our lives doing little more than thanking God for all He has done for us, yet we know that there are many wonders and many things that He still has planned for us. Give God thanks, and seek HIs direction and plan for your life, and remember it is His plan, not yours, that is significant.
