Proverbs 3:1-2...Treasures of the Heart..
My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commandments in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.
For many years we, as Christians, have been upset and distraught by the fact that the Ten Commandments have been removed from public places and government buildings. While these actions should not surprise us, it is a reminder that public walls and stone monuments are not the place that these commandments were meant to be held, rather in our hearts and on our minds. After all, those that would have reckless abandon to law and order do not want to see a constant reminder of what they do wrong hanging over their heads. Why else would they want them removed? We face challenging times when standing firm in our faith seems difficult, however, remembering God’s truth is what gives us purpose. It uplifts our faith and makes our hearts full of love. It is our rock and our foundation.
Blessings,
