John 4:13-14...Thirsty?...

Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Summer is here and that means hot and sticky weather for us here in the south. It also means that with very little effort you become more notably thirsty than normal. The desire to quench your thirst is what separates the normalcy of just drinking water and something that you yearn for and seek after diligently. Thirst is powerful and directs your attention toward a solution quickly. The same desire and yearning for God’s Living Water should capture our attention as well. We should pay attention and make certain that we are drinking from God’s fountain daily. His Word will quench our spiritual thirst and nourish us with love. Step up to the fountain each day and quench your thirst for wisdom and knowledge that only He can provide.
