Ephesians 3:14-17...We Are Rich...
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
When asked about their most prized possession most people will quickly answer about a material piece or a family member that is dear to their heart. Instead our most treasured gift should be that of our salvation, freely given, without merit and everlasting. This is the treasure of our heart and the reminder daily of how much we are loved. Beyond our salvation we are richly blessed by the word of God that we are able to study and to apply to our daily walk through this troubled world. Our security is in the faith that we place in God through Christ Jesus. Our riches are the mercy that He applies endlessly to our lives. Thank you Lord for all that you supply.
