Matthew 28:5-6...Spread the News...

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay."

We have just celebrated Easter in a most unusual way. Restricted to our homes and watching our local and national church services online or through broadcast gives us a moment to pause and think about the early Christians and how they met in their homes, fearful for their lives. We are so fortunate that we do not have to fear because of our faith in Christ, to hide because we worship Him or to fear for our lives if we pronounce Him Lord. Jesus is risen and we are here to proclaim that gospel truth. He fulfilled His promise to overcome death so that we might have eternal life. Share this promise with those that you talk with this week and remind them that God is in control.
