Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

When we are going through a trial we wonder what the purpose may be and what good might come of this. Within our trial God is giving us many lessons. He is teaching us grace, patience, dependence on Him and drawing us to a prayerful and meaningful time alone with Him. It is through these moments and with the help that God sends our way we are able to persevere. God knows our needs both in good times and bad and we are never alone. Keep in mind that our trial and tribulations will not follow us into eternity, except in the form of a crown…
