Luke 2:15-18...Spread the Word, Jesus is Born...

"When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, 'Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.’ So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.”

As soon as the angel gave them the good news the shepherds took action. They set out to find the baby wrapped in cloths as they were told. They did not wait around or decided to put it on their calendar but rather they decided to set out immediately. We should be mindful to be ready to jump into action whenever we hear from the Lord, if not we may well squander the opportunity. Furthermore we might have something to say that might amaze others. Look and listen for God’s direction.
