Ezekiel 34:26...Showers of Blessings...

I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.

This has been such a crazy and unsettling year. Our lives have been turned upside down and our schedules have been changed dramatically. Where we once found comfort in a daily routine we now find uncertainty and unrest. However there is a certainty that has not changed throughout all of this madness we have experienced, and that is the fact that God is in control. This pandemic and its associated troubles were not a surprise to God, nor is anything that happens in our lives. God is in control and even though fear seems to have its grip on our hearts we need to look around and see the blessings that God is still providing. Things like our love for one another, our families, our friends, the beautiful fall season, the upcoming holidays whereby we celebrate our thankfulness and the birth our Savior Jesus Christ. Yes there are showers of blessings, each and every day if only we take the time to recognize them and to lift up our praise and thanksgiving to God. Enjoy the showers of blessing, they are quite refreshing.
