1 Timothy 6:11-12...Our Pursuit...

But you, man of God, flee from all this (love of money), and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of Faith.

The world around us today seems extremely volatile, almost ready to explode with jealousy, greed, malice, contempt or any number of malcontent attributes that are disgusting. The focus here is on the “love of money” and how subtle and seductive the changes can be in our lives if we allow this corruption to take hold. Genuinely it is the “root" or basis of many, if not all, evils that we see around us today, however, we have a solution, a Savior, and a lesson on how to avoid these pitfalls and how to make the world around us a better place. The recipe for us is found within the words of Paul above. Our direction, our goal and our mission is laid out here for us. By following these guidelines we can make a difference and bring the love of Christ to a world that so desperately needs it.
