Luke 1:26-28...Are You Ready...

"In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, 'Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you!’”

Of all women in the history of time, God selected Mary and now was sending His messenger to relay the news that would change her life and impact the world forever. God had a divine and special purpose for Mary, one that she was unaware of until the time of Gabriel’s appearance. Sure, she knew God, she served Him and honored Him with her praise and with her life. She had found favor with the Lord. And now she was to become the mother of Jesus Christ. Oh that we should find favor with God, that we should be so devoted in payer with Him and always giving Him praise, putting Him first in our lives and ready to serve whenever called. God has a divine purpose uniquely fitted for each of us.
