Psalm 119:105...Turn on the light...

“Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

When we are unable to see the road before us we reach for a light. When it is dark in the room we reach for the light switch. When the power goes out we light a candle or reach for the flashlights. Without illumination we stumble around in the darkness and loose our way quickly, or injure ourselves. God has provided His Word to guide us through the darkness in life, it is our light. He has given us instruction to navigate through the pitfalls and directed us how to seek and give forgiveness. God’s Word is the lamp for our path, we must simply study it and apply the precepts. We know that it is that simple yet we will still turn from the light occasionally and stumble in the darkness. Praise God that the light He offers never grows dim, God is always there.
