Luke 13:18-19...Time to plant.....
"Then Jesus asked, 'What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.’”
Knowing Christ and having the assurance of His salvation in our heart is the greatest treasure that we can gain, however it is also one that we cannot stick in our pocket or hide in the closet. We must share what God has given to us, telling of His loving kindness and mercy. This is planting the seed and allowing the Holy Spirit to grow the kingdom of God. Our task is to display to the world what Jesus means to us through our speech, or actions and how we treat those around us. It is not so much a matter of what Jesus might do, but rather what would Jesus would have us do. Be ever prayerful that your steps and attitude reflect the joy and excitement that fills your heart.
