1 Corinthians 2:9-10... Looking forward, in faith...

"But as it is written, 'Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.' But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit…”

There may be times that we try to imagine a world without bitterness, strife or envy, without war or conflict. It is hard to focus on that with all that goes on around us everyday, yet, there will be such a place. We are promised it throughout the Bible, the new heaven and new earth. A place that we as followers of Christ will reside in perfect peace, without sin, without death and without separation from God. Even so, it is still not imaginable to our finite minds. We cannot even see or imagine what God has in store for us tomorrow or the next day, let alone what He has prepared for us in eternity, but we are given glimpses of what this eternal life will hold through the scriptures that we hold dear. We should therefore, rely on the future promise, lean on Christ for understanding and know that God has our best interest at heart always.
