Genesis 1:1...How it all started.

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”

This is not merely a saying or basis of a myth as some have put forward. This is a statement of fact, referenced many times throughout the scripture, and at the very heart of understanding God. He was here before the beginning of time and He will be here long after it is all gone. It is important to understand that God created everything from nothing. There was not an explosion of matter, spinning and cooling, random cells springing up and evolving into the things we see around us today. It is simply not feasible. God created it all, and all of it from nothing. That is part of the majesty of God, of His ultimate power and His authority over everything. Once we have this in its right place, we are able to study God’s Word within the right context. Take a look around you and marvel at the wonders of God, of the mighty design of His creation and of the splendor that only He can provide.
